Krol to play for the Chicago Riot?
There are serious rumblings in the Chicago soccer community that Krzysztof Krol's days as a soccer player in Chicago are not over just yet. The National Soccer League's indoor season is just underway but I'm pretty sure they have rules against professionals. Peter Wilt also said there would be a major announcement soon for the Riot. We'll continue trying to put things together and keep you posted as this story develops.

We checked Patrycja's Twitter account
If this story is true, it’s not being verified by his wife’s Twitter account… unlike other rumors this season.

Guillermo Rivera going all in and I think he is right. Check out the details of Krol ‘Rioting’ at the link.

This is pretty cool, so what position does a professional Left back play? Gives me another reason to check out a Riot game out.
I believe the answer to your question is
“Wherever he wants”

I’m just not that interested in the Chicago Riot. My interest in professional indoor soccer has stedily declined from the Sting, to the Power, to the Storm to the Riot. There’s just not enough consistency in terms of teams in Chicago or the league for me to ever have more than a passing interest.
With respect to Krol, didn’ this wife tweet something like, “We’re getting the heck out of Chicago and back to Europe where the BEST soccer players play”…playing for the Riot is a tough fall
She also tweeted that she was pissed that the Fire wouldn’t let him train with them, even though he had decided to leave the team. He’s probably not going to be playing with a European team until the January transfer window, or sometime next season. Hence, he wanted to train somewhere still and stay fit. I guess the Riot was his compromise.
Not sure where Krol will end up, but it sort of reminds me of those guys who tell girls, “I used to play professionally in Europe” and then when it comes right down to it, it was more like a try—out with Rushden & Diamonds.

Or "I could have been a contender"
From On the Waterfront
Not but seriously he is doing this just to stay in shape from what I understand. We got him on a loan from Jagiellonia BiaĆystok and he is going back to play with them. He has a team.

It will be interesting to see what happens to him
As I recall he was playing with Jagiellonia’s reserves before he came with the Fire.
I want to make a terribly snarky comment but I’ll refrain.
