2011 adidas MLS Player Combine Rosters Announced; Darlington Nagbe will not participate, Kitchen, MacMath, Salgado, Valentin all out too

Major League Soccer just sent out a press release announcing the full 2011 adidas MLS Player Combine Rosters.  Over 70 top MLS prospects will play in a couple of games that are being called the 2011 adidas MLS Player Combine.  The combine will take place on Jan. 7-11 at Central Broward Regional Park in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

From the press release:

Each team will be led by a collegiate head coach who will be assisted by an experienced soccer professional.  The University of Louisville’s Ken Lolla will coach AdiZero with Rick Brownell of the Michigan Wolves, the University of Tulsa’s Tom McIntosh will coach AdiPure with Dave Smith of the North Atlantic Soccer Association, Seattle Pacific University’s Mark Collings will coach team Jabulani with Brian Quinn of San Diego SC, and Old Dominion’s Alan Dawson will coach team AdiPower with Brian Doyle of Council Rock Soccer Association and FC Bucks.

General admission tickets will be available at the stadium on each game day for $10 (cash only) and will include admission to both games played that day. Proceeds will benefit MLS W.O.R.K.S., Major League Soccer's community outreach initiative.

Anyone lucky enough to be down there should check these games out.  The young collegiate/USA talent is just getting better and better as time goes on.  However, likely first pick of the draft Darlington Nagbe will not be playing.  Fellow Generation adidas players Perry Kitchen, Zac MacMath, Omar Salgado, and Zarek Valentin will also be out, training with the Under-20 National Team instead.  After the break is full list of the combine teams and the schedule for all of the games.

USMNT Allocation Order

The allocation ranking is the mechanism used to determine which MLS club has first priority to acquire a U.S. National Team player who signs with MLS after playing abroad, or a former MLS player who returns to the League after having gone to a club abroad for a transfer fee. The allocation rankings may also be used in the event two or more clubs file a request for the same player on the same day. The allocations will be ranked in reverse order of finish for the 2010 season, taking playoff performance into account.

Once the club uses its allocation ranking to acquire a player, it drops to the bottom of the list. A ranking can be traded, provided that part of the compensation received in return is another club’s ranking. At all times, each club is assigned one ranking. The rankings reset at the end of each MLS League season.
