Watch Party Roundup - Seattle Sounders, April 9, 2011 @ 3:00 PM CST

The Chicago Fire and Section 8 are doing a joint watch party tomorrow at the Globe Pub at 1934 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago, IL.  There's more information in Section 8's latest 8-Track.  The Fire have a Facebook event for it too.

Chi-Town Futbol at 2255 S. Throop, Chicago, IL is the host of the Sector Latino watch party.  Facebook event listing is here.

Husaria is having their watch party at Second Time Around at 8301 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago, IL.  Check out their Facebook event page for all the details.

All of these events are open to the public.  There is no cover and each spot has some kind of food/drink specials.  These are a unique opportunity to meet some other Fire fans, pick up some more information, and cheer for the team in a loud gathering.  If you would rather stay at home, the game will be broadcast on Comcast Sportsnet.  Kick-off is at 3:00 PM CST.  If you would like your watch party to start appearing here, just drop us a line at HotTimeInOldTown (at) gmail.com.  If you want to start a watch party in your area, just contact a bar owner, make sure they will show the game, send out the invites and let us know.  Maybe you'll even turn into your own supporters group someday...

USMNT Allocation Order

The allocation ranking is the mechanism used to determine which MLS club has first priority to acquire a U.S. National Team player who signs with MLS after playing abroad, or a former MLS player who returns to the League after having gone to a club abroad for a transfer fee. The allocation rankings may also be used in the event two or more clubs file a request for the same player on the same day. The allocations will be ranked in reverse order of finish for the 2010 season, taking playoff performance into account.

Once the club uses its allocation ranking to acquire a player, it drops to the bottom of the list. A ranking can be traded, provided that part of the compensation received in return is another club’s ranking. At all times, each club is assigned one ranking. The rankings reset at the end of each MLS League season.
