Chicago Fire vs. Real Salt Lake - MLS #16: Gamethread
The once and future kings of Major League Soccer, Real Salt Lake, enter today's game with a mortal 1-2-2 record over their last five games. The Chicago Fire's record of 1-0-4 over their last five is 2 points better for what it's worth. Marco Pappa is available for selection in tonight's game for the first time since May 28th when he started against the San Jose Earthquakes. Josip Mikulic also returns as an option after being out for over a month. Crisitian Nazarit has been suspended for this game and Sunday's game after the MLS Disciplinary Committee ruled he tried to punch an opponent's head in the New England game. Logan Pause has picked up a knock and has been ruled questionable for tonight's game.
Frank Klopas has decided to start Sean Johnson; Jalil Anibaba, Yamith Cuesta, Gonzalo Segares; Dominic Oduro, Daniel Paladini, Baggio Husidic, Patrick Nyarko; Diego Chaves, Orr Barouch.
My best guess at the bench would be Jon Conway, Josip Mikulic, Dasan Robinson, Marco Pappa, Michael Videira, Corben Bone, and Gabriel Ferrari.
Congratulations to Orr Barouch on his first MLS start. He certainly has earned it. Yours and our live commentary in the comments below.

Possibly...
hopefully there isn’t a need to make a better one the rest of the night. Great save from point blank range.

Not looking rusty from Gold Cup play. If anything, might have sharpened him.

Final whistle: 0-0
Lots of good pressure applied by the Fire in the 2nd half but we just couldn’t break through.

Another 0-0 tie. Against RSL, I’d take it but this is getting a little ridiculous.
