Chicago Fire vs. Real Salt Lake - MLS #30 - 8:00 PM CST - MY50 TV

Javier Morales might make an appearance tonight for the first time since May 7, 2011

Frank Klopas is going with a heavy lineup for tonight's game:

Sean Johnson; Dan Gargan, Josip Mikulic, Cory Gibbs, Gonzalo Segares; Marco Pappa, Pavel Pardo, Logan Pause; Daniel Paladini; Patrick Nyarko, Dominic Oduro

The U.S. Open Cup Final isn't until Tuesday so there's no reason to worry about overextending these guys.  Besides, by the time we get to October 4th, Seattle will have played 7 games in 25 days in 3 countries.  Just last night the Sounders tied Comunicaciones 2-2 in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Javier Morales is on the bench for RSL and will likely enter a MLS game for the first time since a horrible injury on May 7th. This will likely be a little emotional for the players, staff and fans at Rio Tinto.  For a little background on how well the Fire are playing, check out today's earlier story.  For a little RSL flavor and perspective, check out RSL Soapbox.  Yours and our in-game thoughts after the break.

Marco Pappa scores an early goal thanks to some light passing by Nyarko and Paladini. Olave bites on Paladini opening Pappa up and he curls the ball in the net from outside the box.

Within seconds, Paladini gives Beckerman a light shove to the back. Beckerman retaliates with a head butt to Paladini. Beckerman gets a straight red.

USMNT Allocation Order

The allocation ranking is the mechanism used to determine which MLS club has first priority to acquire a U.S. National Team player who signs with MLS after playing abroad, or a former MLS player who returns to the League after having gone to a club abroad for a transfer fee. The allocation rankings may also be used in the event two or more clubs file a request for the same player on the same day. The allocations will be ranked in reverse order of finish for the 2010 season, taking playoff performance into account.

Once the club uses its allocation ranking to acquire a player, it drops to the bottom of the list. A ranking can be traded, provided that part of the compensation received in return is another club’s ranking. At all times, each club is assigned one ranking. The rankings reset at the end of each MLS League season.
