Since I also had the match preview this week I got most of my thoughts out in that. So, the preamble for this gamethread isn't going to be very long. It will be a late game for most of us not on the West Coast, but it's going to be a good game nonetheless. For those wondering, the game should also be on MLS Live, so if you aren't in Chicago and have a Live account, you should be able to catch it on there.

For a prediction, I am going with a 1-1 tie. Going in and getting 3 points is going to be very hard, but I think our defense will step up and hold San Jose's high flying attack to 1 goal. This game could just as easily be a goal fest, but I am feeling a lower scoring game tonight. I am going to go with a Lenhart goal off a set piece for San Jose. For the Fire, gonna go with a Pardo goal off a free kick or penalty kick. As usual, lineups will be posted when announced. Join us tonight for the fun. Let's go Men in Red!
