The Eastern showdown is set at Houston's new BBVA Compass Stadium as the Fire will look to notch their 4th straight victory tonight. The Men in Red currently sit 4th in the Eastern Conference standings, while Houston occupies the #5 spot in the East. The Fire sit on 27 points in 16 games played and have a record of L-L-W-W-W in the last 5 games. Houston sits on 23 points on 16 games played and have a record of L-W-T-L-W in the last 5 games.

Sebastian Grazzini is again not traveling with the team as his "personal issues" are still being addressed with the club. Transfer rumors continue to swirl around Marco Pappa, so my hope is that the team can stay focused through these issues and bring home all 3 points tonight.

As usual, lineups will be posted when announced. Come join us for the fun tonight. I am predicting a rousing 3-1 Fire win. I am going with Oduro, Rolfe, and Pappa for the goals. I think Bruin will net 1 for them. 3 points would be a nice way to head into the big showdown this weekend vs. LA. Let's go Fire!
