Chicago Fire likely have signed Miguel Ángel Garduño Pérez

The El Sol de Tijuana is reporting that the Chicago Fire have signed Miguel Ángel Garduño Pérez.  On the plus side, we know that Major League Soccer is slow on getting this kind of information out there because of their bizarre interoffice system for signing players.  From Google translate:

"I play center back and I'll find a place as a starter, I do not want me anything, with the daily work I find to be taken into account by De Los Cobos, " said Garduño Pérez, who currently has over 19 years.

If you go to the link, Garduño Pérez is wearing a Chicago Fire training shirt.  The link also says that his last club was the Egyptian side Zamalek SC.  I could not find a Wikipedia page (yes, anyone can add but it does say SOMETHING to have one) in any language for him and if there is information about his time at Zamalek SC, a search did not turn up anything either.  It looks like this signing is legitimate but it is on the small side.  My guess for Garduño Pérez is he was signed to to fill out the 30-man roster and Frank Klopas & Co. think he can turn out to be more over time.  Here's to hoping that's the case anyway.
