Chicago Fire vs. New York Red Bulls - MLS #17: Gamethread - 1:00 PM CST ESPN

In the last 10 games the Chicago Fire and New York Red Bulls have played this season, there has only been one loss.  That would be New York's 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Seattle Sounders.  Otherwise both teams can claim all sorts of 'unbeatenness'.  Typical of the 2011 MLS season, only 2 of those 9 unbeaten marks have been wins.  NYRB might be near the top of the standings but right now they are hardly the juggernaut the team has been hyped up to be.  Rafael Marquez, Juan Agudelo, and Tim Ream are still out thanks to the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.  Forward Luke Rodgers is out with a foot injury.  As discussed in the 3 Questions preview, almost every other player that has played significant minutes this year went a full 90 minutes on Thursday.  Thierry Henry will be playing at full strength but the Fire might face goaltender Bouna Coundoul, who hasn't started in 7 games.  If there was ever a time to pounce and take advantage of a situation, today is the day.  I'm going with that thought and saying the Fire will win 2-1.  Your in-game comments and thoughts after the break.
