Chicago Fire vs. New York Red Bulls - MLS #32 - Gamethread - 2:30 PM CST - NBC/97.5 FM

Ok, let's try this again. Hopefully it will go a bit smoother this time. The Men in Red look to get back on track after their train was derailed by SKC and the horror show that was the Philly game.

The Fire have a chance to make an impact statement on national TV. They will have to do it in a tough venue against a tough team, but getting a result would sure feel nice after the past 2 games. The Men in Red will have the services of Frank Klopas and Sega back, but we will unfortunately still be missing one Pavel Pardo. Despite this, the Fire need to find a way to put the past 2 results behind them and get their focus back. A draw or a win today would certainly help right the ship with the playoffs looming.

We will really see what this team is made of in a few hours. I expect a lot of fight as the team looks to make up for the wrong that was the Philly debacle.

As usual, lineups will be posted before the match. Let's all do our part today to help cheer the Fire on. That means flipping on NBC and joining us on the gamethread. Let's go Fire!
