The match will be 120 minutes with Frank Klopas likely to push the starting group from the regular 45 minutes from the past few games to approximately 60 minutes Wednesday.
Logan Pause has rejoined the team in California. Rafael Robayo is expected to make his Fire debut today. Defender Jed Zayner has been released from camp. Trialists Rodrigo Inigo, Ivane Guerrero, Alec Kann, and Paolo Tornaghi all remain in camp. Draft picks Lukcy Mkosana, Hunter Jumper, and Tony Walls are sticking around too. Just like this past Saturday, trialist Alex remains with the team but is unavailable for selection.
Both teams have been strong in preseason. Portland has outscored their opponents 6-1 in three games. The Fire have outscored their preseason opponents 7-1 in four games. If there is a goal in this game, the team that gives it up will have trailed for the first time this preseason.
