The new SB Nation Power Rankings are out. The Fire hold steady at number 10 even after they lost this past Saturday in Columbus. A bit surprise considering a lack luster first half and a panicked second half should have warranted a drop of at least one place in my humble opinion. Let us take a quick look at the rest of the SB Nation Power Rankings

SB Nation Power Rankings

1. RSL 1.18 1.63
2. Earthquakes 3.41 3.06

19. Toronto FC 18.65 18.81

FC Dallas have taken a bit of a nose dive after being defeated by the Fire and Real Salt Lake. They went from 13th place and dropped to 17th place. Another team that dropped four places is the almighty LA Galaxy. The Earthquakes and the Dynamo are the most recent teams to take down the reigning champions. The Crew, on their current hot streak, have risen four spots from 16th to 11th.

Revs v Fire is the only action this weekend. The Revs have the possibility to jump a few spots because of their hot streak as well. It will be interesting to see how both squads come out after tough losses to lower division teams in U.S. Open Cup play.
