My Thoughts on Grazzini's (evidently) Likely Departure

I think this is a BAD call.

I'm sorry, you do not get rid of a producing #10 mid season. Sure, Chris Rolfe has been making some INSANE passes to set up goals, but as we can see, he's still not fit to start yet. I know we've got Alex coming, and he's supposedly a younger version of Grazzini, but he has not been training with us since the preseason. How long will it take before he's able to mesh with the team and begin producing? That will take time, people. What is the team supposed to do for a creative midfielder in that time frame?

Also, what message is this sending out to our other players? Seba is contributing and playing his heart out for us. This would almost be as big a player management mistake as letting Busch go after he won keeper of the year.

Jeff Krause tweeted that "If Seba really is gone, I hope @ChicagoFire are holding one of Wonka's golden tickets in their hands." He hits it right on the head, the FO better have some damn good reason to be letting an established #10 go.
