This week in the SB Nation Power rankings, the Chicago Fire took a bit of a fall, dropping into eighth place after having climbed up to sixth the week prior. The Fire looked pretty tired and didn't seem to show a lot of creativity on Sunday. A seventh place ranking would've seemed more justified especially after getting results on the road the previous week. With a strong team in the Vancouver Whitecaps coming to Toyota Park on Saturday, this game will test not only their ability to come off a loss but also show where they rank against a team that has been strong all season.
The rest of the rankings have very little movement. The top three stay the same with the San Jose Earthquakes, DC United, and Salt Lake taking those spots. The New York Red Bulls flip flop with Sporting Kansas City after their tie with Toronto FC. The bottom stays the same with the Portland Timbers, FC Dallas, and Toronto FC rounding out the team rankings.
Do you see the Fire winning this weekend against Vancouver? Should a win propel them into the Top 5? How do you see the rest of the rankings?
