The Chicago Fire Front Office announced today that Sebastian Grazzini has been loaned to the Argentinean Club Atletico de Rafael. This is not a huge surprise as there have been rumors circulating that some clubs in Argentina have been interested in Grazzini. Earlier this month, Javier Leon had mentioned that there had been no interest in Grazzini from Argentinean clubs, but it would have been frivolous of the Fire to keep a player completely on the books when he's not going to play for the team.
Per team and MLS policy, the terms of the loan are undisclosed, so it's unknown what exactly the Fire are getting out of this. It's also probably safe to assume this loan will be for the duration of Grazzini's contract and that his time with the Fire is over.
