A big 3 points are on the line tonight. Depending on the DC/Columbus game (in which a tie might be the best result for the Fire), we could leapfrog DC into 4th place in the standings. With Houston winning last night and taking over first place in the East, a win by the Men in Red tonight would put us within 5 points of 1st in the East. Separation from Columbus and Montreal would be a nice thing to have happen too.

Alvaro Fernandez should make his debut for the Fire tonight, and it will be fun to see what Sherjill MacDonald can do in his second outing for the Fire. I predicted him to be one of the goal scorers tonight so here's to hoping for that too. Join us tonight and cheer on the Men in Red!
