For a team that is heading into their final game of the season and on the precipice of playoff glory or off-season despair, it has been fairly quiet around the Fire blogosphere. Still, there are a couple of links from the interwebs that are worth sharing in case anyone has missed them.
- Sean Johnson is up for Save of the Week for the second time in three weeks. Unfortunately, he has some stiff competition from Nick Rimando.
- Sean Johnson is also set to make his 100th appearance in his young career. The only other goal keeper to reach 100 appearances faster than Sean Johnson is....Nick Rimando.
- The Chicago Fire website has a profile up on Fire Academy U-18 player, Collin Fernandez, who is a 16 year old from Downers Grove. Fernandez had a good showing at the Generation Adidas Cup in Denver earlier this month and has been called up the USMNT U-17 squad.
- Lastly, the Chicago Fire have begun selling potential playoff tickets through the website. For more information, head to the website here.
