With the Fire still missing Arne Friedrich and Logan Pause, the defense must step up. And news hit today that Steve Kinney is out as well. It sure would have been nice to have a guy like Dan Gargan still on the team. It would appear either Mike Videira or Wells Thompson will fill in at RB Saturday, which means a back line with a bit of a different look for the 3rd game in a row. This is not the way we want to head into KC, but a lot of early injuries and lack of depth have put us in this position. The Men in Red will have to try to make due as best they can with the cards that have been dealt.
If the Fire can some how find a way to bring a point back home from KC, I will consider that quite a nice result. We hope you join us for all of Saturday's action. Lineups to be posted before the game. As always, let's go Fire!
