How will Duka do in his first regular season Fire appearance? Will we see Atouba as well?

The dawn of the 2013 season is upon us for the Fire. Heading into LA, the Chicago side will look to bring some points back home to kick off the new campaign. It's going to be tough going at the Home Depot Center against the defending champs. The Fire are brimming with hungry, new faces on the team and I have no doubt we will take the fight to an LA team without Becks or Landy Cakes.

I want to give a hat tip to Mr. Jeff Crandall as he has provided a link for everyone to check out in terms of the broadcast of today's game. The Fire should be announcing their local broadcast schedule imminently. While many of us were planning on watching the match via MLS Live, it was announced the other day that UniMas would be picking the game up. For those of us in the Chicago area, you should be able to see the game. For those of us outside of Chicago, we will have to rely on other means to watch.

Click on the link here. For those of you with DirecTV and the Sports Pack, the game is listed on channel 691 but may be subject to blackout. MLS is also offering a FREE trial of their Direct Kick TV package this weekend and next weekend, and the DirecTV channel listed for the Fire game is 458. Take that with a grain of salt as I did see a few people report that the Direct Kick channels were not always working properly yesterday. Hopefully no matter where you are today, we can all watch our Men in Red back in action.

As usual, lineups will be posted before kickoff. Please join us here on HTIOT to help kick off the 2013 season. I am going with a 1-1 draw today. 3 points would be really tough, but I think we can bring a point home. I will say goals from Keane and Lindpere will net each team a point. Let's go Fire!
