Chicago Fire vs. New England Revolution - MLS #2 - Gamethread - 6:30 PM CST - NBC Sports/97.5 FM

The Fire will be in prime time tonight as they look to notch their first points of the season against a familiar (and hated) foe. The Men in Red certainly will have added motivation after last week, but will need to find a way to win without Arne Friedrich and Logan Pause

We should expect to see an identical lineup to last week. If Logan Pause was healthy, then we could see a wrinkle or two, but I see Frank sticking to his guns tonight. Personally, I would rather see Kinney shift to RB if he has to play, with Anibaba in the middle with Berry. Honestly, the best bet might be to deploy someone like Mike Videira at RB, but I don't see that happening.

The midfield is also going to have to step up to the plate (or pitch as it were) tonight. A lack of possession, passing, attack building, and just a general malaise hurt us last week. Although the center of the pitch looked in fine form this pre-season, that all evaporated quickly last week. While we have already hashed all of this out here at HTIOT, we simply need the midfield to play like they can tonight.

Lineups will of course be posted pre-game. Please join us again tonight and hopefully the end result will send us all home much happier. Let's go Fire!
