In 2015 the Chicago Fire faithful, the most loyal of the Fire fan base, have been forced to endure one of the worst club performance in league play in the history of the club. As the Men in Red languish in last place in the Eastern Conference it would be very easy for fans to give up and walk away from the season. Don't give up yet Fire fans! Fortunately the Fire are gearing up for one of the most exciting and fun weeks of the season so far. On Wednesday 8/12/15 the Fire are set to play the most important match of the season to date yet, the US Open Cup (USOC) semifinal in Philadelphia.
US Open Cup watch parties
For those of you not riding the bus to Philadelphia as you read this, the Chicago Fire take on the Philadelphia Union in the USOC semifinal at 6:30 pm CT at PPL Park.
Despite the USOC semifinal being a knockout match and the most important match to date during the 2015 season for the Chicago Fire, it is not being televised locally or national. The only way to watch the USOC final here in the Chicagoland area will be to stream the match through www.chicago-fire.com.
It is highly recommended that fans consider watching at a local watch party for the event. These events are fun and help to build community among fans. The office Independent Supporters' Association (ISA) or Section 8 sponsored watch party will be held at the Galway Arms in Lakeview.Atlantic Bar and Grill in Lincoln Square has also announced they will be streaming the cup final.Most Fire supporter's bars will be streaming but call ahead. Chicago Fire Foundation - White Party
Thursday August 15, the Chicago Fire Foundation will be hosting the fifth annual White Party. The event, to be held at MCA Warehouse in Chicago, is a fun event and exciting party every year. This premier fundraiser, where all guests wear white clothing, features a premium open bar, food from a variety of Chicagoland restaurants, music, dancing and the chance for close encounters with former and current Fire players and personnel.
VIP tickets are sold out (which provide access to premium food and drinks, private bar, upgraded gift bag, lounge seats and guaranteed access to the after party). General Admission tickets are still available for $60.00 plus 3.99 in fees here. This party is exceptionally fun and a chance for the fan community to come together away from the pitch. All guests leave the party with great stories and a giant bag of swag.

Proceeds for the event go to support the Chicago Fire Foundation. The Fire Foundation's goal is to improve the quality of life throughout the Chicagoland area by "leveraging its resources and expertise in the area of soccer to provide sports-based youth development and direct-service programs to underserved communities." The Charitable arm of the Chicago Fire has been operating since 1998 raising more than 4.9 million for the cause.

Fire v Union watch party
With any luck, it will be the Philadelphia Union looking for revenge on the Chicago Fire when the two teams square off once again, this time in MLS plan. The Fire will take on the Union once again at PPL Park at 6 pm Sunday Aug. 16. Hopefully some of the Fire players make it back mid-week to make appearances at the White Party.
The ISA will be promoting the Atlantic Bar and Grill (address above) for the Philadelphia "the sequel" watch party. Come on out and meet friends and support the Fire.

Chicago Fire Foundation - Soccer & Style Event
The 3rd Annual fashion show event to raise money for the foundation will be held on the roof of the Wit on September 16th at 201 N. State St in Chicago. Tickets go on sale this week on August 14th.Enjoy drinks, small bites and a downtown view of the city. Look for more details here.
