Fire Announce First Three Games Of The 2018 Season

Get hyped, y’all

MLS: Real Salt Lake at Chicago Fire Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Major League Soccer doesn’t believe in breaks. Hours after Toronto won the MLS Cup, teams were already wheeling and dealing with each other and reshuffling their rosters. With barely a week to breathe since the end of the 2017 campaign, it’s full steam ahead to 2018.

The Chicago Fire announced the first three fixtures on the docket for the 2018 season earlier today, and the season looks to start off with a bang.

It all starts on March 3rd with a trip Dick’s Sporting Goods Park to take on the Colorado Rapids. The home opener follows one week later, with Sporting Kansas City showing their ugly faces at Toyota Park. Finally, the Men In Red travel to the Cold White Godless North on St. Patrick’s Day to take on Minnesota United, the first time the Fire will visit MNUFC on their ground.

Kickoff times and broadcast info for all three games remain TBD.

The full schedule probably won’t come out until after the holidays; once it does we will, of course, keep you apprised.
