For a third straight week, Chicago Fire defender Brandon Vincent has been selected to the MLS Team of the Week.
The nod comes after another strong performance from the young outside back, who impressed in the Fire’s match last Thursday against FC Dallas. Vincent has been an integral part of Chicago’s presence going forward this season, and it showed in last week’s Brimstone Cup, as the Stanford graduate assisted on Nemanja Nikolic’s third minute goal.
Vincent was also apart of the Team of the Week for weeks 11 and 12. He made the top 11 for his performance against Colorado, and was selected to the bench after a solid defensive performance at RFK Stadium against D.C. United two weeks ago.
The sophomore defender and the rest of the Chicago Fire return to action against Orlando City on Sunday.
