Red Stars 2, Houston 0: Woman of the Match

With a solid 2-0 win over Houston in the books, we want you to rate the Red Stars’ players and choose your woman of the match.

So, not the most exciting game you’ll ever see. But it got better as it went on, and the last 20 minutes were pretty exciting. Most important, the Red Stars got the win and hopefully got back on track. We’re going to name Dani Colaprico as our Woman of the Match— she had a solid game throughout, giving Houston’s back line tons of problems, and her free kick led to the Sarah Hagen own goal that gave Chicago the lead at halftime. (Also, it’s her birthday!)

Now let us know how you saw it. Vote for your choice for WOTM in the poll below. The poll will be open for two days, after which we’ll publicize the results. (Note: if you’re viewing this post from AMP or Apple News, you won’t see the poll below. Feel free to tell us your pick in the comments.)
