Fire 1, St. Louis FC 0: Man of the Match

Lucho Solignac nets a cheeky goal to propel the Fire into the next round

The Fire were without some of their biggest playmakers tonight against St. Louis FC. The opposition would pull no punches, and had their fair share of chances against our Men in Red. There weren’t a lot of tremendous performances, but one moment of brilliance from our striker was enough to win this one. Luis Solignac took a cross in from Brandon Vincent and flipped in a phenomenal goal with the outside of his right boot, over the keeper and into the back right corner of the net. That’s enough for us to give him Man of the Match.
