Revolution 1, Fire 2: Man of the Match

The Fire toughed out a very important road win, and are (at least temporarily) in first overall. Chicago had some really great performances tonight, but one man stood out above the rest. Nemanja Nikolic leads MLS in scoring and he’s not slowing down. He finished off a chance early on, and also set up an all-important second goal that Luis Solignac scored. He also had a few phenomenal blocks late on to preserve the 2-1 lead.
