The NWSL Media Association announced their picks for the league Team Of The Month for May 2017 earlier today. Their nods for the month’s best XI includes four Red Stars players— more than any other team in the league.

The awards, unsurprisingly, reflect the rock-solid core of the team that went unbeaten in the month of May and rocketed from near the bottom of the table (following a rough start to the season) to second place with a league-best 3-0-1 record. The TotM includes star forward Christen Press, midfielder Danielle Colaprico, and defenders Samantha Johnson and Casey Short.

The four Red Stars stalwarts find themselves in good company. Included in May’s Team Of The Month were Boston’s breakout (pun intended) midfielder Rose Lavelle, Kansas City enforcer Becky Sauerbrunn, and 2017 NWSL College Draftee goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan of Sky Blue FC.

Here’s the full Team Of The Month for May:

Kailen Sheridan (Sky Blue); Samantha Johnson (Chicago), Becky Sauerbrunn (Kansas City), Casey Short (Chicago); Danielle Colaprico (Chicago), Amandine Henry (Portland), Sarah Killion (Sky Blue), Rose Lavelle (Boston); Nahomi Kawasumi (Seattle), Samantha Kerr (Sky Blue), Christen Press (Chicago)
