This was a rough night for Chicago soccer. Not least for the Red Stars, who gave up a 1-0 lead to suffer their first defeat since April. This is an undoubtedly bitter pill to swallow— for the players and the fans. We’re going to give our WOTM nod to Taylor Comeau for battling back from injury, playing outside her natural position tonight, and acquitting herself fairly well all things considered.
