This was a weird and ultimately disappointing game. Orlando were shown two red cards— one of which was pretty soft, if we’re being honest here— and responded by hunkering down for the draw. The ref made himself out to be the big story of the game, which is never a good sign. Chicago’s attackers misfired, the midfield couldn’t break Orlando down, and the substitutions were uninspiring. All this added up to Chicago’s first dropped points in a month. This is a tough game to pick someone out, but we’re going to give our MOTM nod to Matt Polster for his hard work while filling in for both Dax and Juninho in central midfield. It was a tough job and Polster availed himself as well as could be expected.
