Chicago Fire striker Nemanja Nikolic and midfielder/wingback Matt Polster were named to the MLS Team of the Week for Matchweek 18.

Nikolic, of course, was credited as the league Player of the Week after scoring two first half goals against Vancouver to give the Fire a 4-0 win over the host and a comfortable perch atop the MLS Supporters’ Shield standings.

Meanwhile, Polster was named to the TotW for the second week in a row, owing to two assists in the Vancouver win and an overall strong performance at his new makeshift position.

The full Team of the Week is below:

Starting XI: Howard (COL); Polster (CHI), Parkhurst (ATL), Onyewu (PHI); Johnson (ORL), Dzemaili (MON), Ring (NYC), Hairston (COL); Nikolic (CHI), Villa (NYC), Badji (COL)
