Boston Breakers 0, Chicago Red Stars 0: Woman of the Match

Despite some relentless offense in the second half, Chicago are forced to settle for a point

All things considered, this wasn’t a bad result. Boston have improved their game tremendously this season and aren’t the pushovers we’ve become accustomed to. This third game of the road trip had all the makings for a tough loss. That Chicago escaped with a point in commendable. Yet the Red Stars nearly managed to get on the scoreboard and, perhaps, come away with a win. Christen Press came closest throughout the night to breaking the stalemate. For that, we’re naming her our Woman of the Match.
