Montreal Impact 3, Chicago Fire 0: Man of the Match

Not a lot of great, nay, good, nay, average performances to choose from in this one

MLS: Chicago Fire at Montreal Impact Jean-Yves Ahern-USA TODAY Sports

Well, that did not go well. The Fire sustained an injury early on to Joao Meira and from that moment, nothing went Chicago’s way.

Three first half goals from the Impact did the Fire in, and they really were never in this game. There weren’t a lot of standout performances tonight, but David Accam really did play hard and fought to keep his team close.

No one from the midfield back can really be considered for it, and Accam was the only forwards to really create anything. We’re hoping for more at the weekend.
