Chicago Fire defenders João Meira, Matt Polster and Brandon Vincent will all miss the Fire’s match against Toronto FC on Saturday due to injury, CSN Chicago’s Danny Santaromita reports.
Not surprising, but Joao Meira, Matt Polster and Brandon Vincent all listed as out for Saturday's game against Toronto with injuries. #cf97

Vincent has missed the last several weeks with a quad strain, having suffered the injury during warm-ups before the Fire’s post-All-Star game match against NYCFC. Polster and Meira will miss the match because of a left knee and calf injury respectively.
These injuries leave the Fire quite short in the back, and may open the door for another start for newly acquired defender Christian Dean, as well as for Jonathan Campbell, who has seen minimal playing time this season.
Fire fans can also expect to see Patrick Doody in the starting lineup at left back, and more likely than not, Johan Kappelhof covering at right back, as Michael Harrington is listed as questionable due to illness.
Chicago’s eastern conference showdown with Toronto kicks off at 7:00 pm tomorrow.
