A huge win against the league leaders in the last home game of the season with playoff qualification still on the line. Not a bad way to end your Sunday. The Red Stars had some familiar struggles but on balance this is the team we know and love. This was a huge win and they absolutely deserved it.
We’re going to name Yuki Nagasato as our WOTM. With the equalizing goal and an assist on Julie Ertz’ gamewinner, her impact on the game was undeniable. Here’s to more performances like this from her.
