Chicago Fire vs Portland Timbers

Saturday, March 31st, 2018

MLS Week 5 | Toyota Park, Bridgeview IL

Kickoff: 5:00pm, CT

Referee: Drew Fischer

Assistant Referees: Corey Rockwell, Jeremy Kieso

4th Official: Rubiel Vazquez

VAR: Alan Kelly

The Fire have lost their first two games of the season, and the only reason things haven’t gotten worse is because of two early bye weeks. The Men In Red will be looking for a win to turn things around. This, despite having never beaten the Timbers, being plagued with injuries, and mired in a deep ennui that has smothered whatever magic they had in 2017. They can’t afford to lose again, yet it’s hard to see how they get the result they need.
