Aleksandar Katai and the Chicago Fire came away from New Jersey with a 2-1 W this weekend against the New York Red Bulls. And now more good news, as Katai’s great goal is up for Goal Of The Week for Week 8.
As Fire fans it is your solemn duty to vote for Katai’s goal. You can take care of that here.
And in case you need a pick-me-up today:

Katai joins a five-player field that includes LAFC’s Laurent Ciman, Sporting Kansas City’s Jimmy Medranda, Real Salt Lake’s Albert Rusnak, and Seattle’s Gustav Svensson in this week’s nominations.
The competition is stiff this week, with Rusnak’s goal for RSL that was an absolute delight, but I think Katai has got them all beat.
For the Fire, it was the beginning of what would become a great win with solid performances all around, notably by Mo Adams and Richard Sanchez who stood on his head this week.
