Basti & Niko Named To MLS Team Of The Week

The Big Handsome German gets a nod at his new position while #NoNikoNoParty stays strong

On the heels of the Chicago Fire’s first win of the 2018 season, two Men In Red have been named to the MLS Team Of The Week.

Bastian Schweinsteiger was named to the best XI for Week 6. Basti was listed as a defender in the TOTW, owing to his spending a long stretch of the game at his possibly-new position as central defender or libero.

Nemanja Nikolic was named as a substitute for the TOTW on the strength of his game-winning goal against Columbus this weekend (his fourth of the season).
