Look let’s be real here. This wasn’t a great game of soccer. Neither team was at 100%, the officiating was extremely Not Great, and the weather made this game sloppy and unmanageable. The result is fine, but definitely don’t show this game to people who you want to win over to NWSL Fandom.
We’re going with Alyssa Naeher as our WOTM. She had a few decent saves, including an absolutely heroic tipover to save a Megan Rapinoe shot in the second half. She did real work out there tonight.
