Portland Thorns vs Chicago Red Stars

Saturday, August 18th, 2018

NWSL Week 21 | Providence Park, Portland OR

Kickoff: 9:30pm CT

Referee: Malik Badawi

Assistant Referees: Joshua Haimes, Jennifer Garner

4th Official: Jason Perlewitz

The Red Stars’ push for the playoffs is coming down to the wire. Their goalless draw in Seattle on Wednesday makes this clash with the Thorns— currently 3rd in the NWSL standings— a must-win. Chicago has struggled against Portland historically, and the Thorns are exceptionally hard to beat at home. This is a real gut-check game for the Red Stars.
