Portland Timbers vs Chicago Fire

Wednesday, August 14th, 2019

MLS Week 24 | Providence Park, Portland OR

Kickoff: 10:00 pm CT

Referee: Silviu Petrescu

Assistant Referees: Ian B. Anderson, Michael Barwegen

4th Official: Darhad Dadkho

VAR: Jon Freemon

We’re not sure what’s weirder— that the Fire are on a winning streak, or that they have a realistic shot at extending it tonight. The Men In Red head out west for a late midweek clash with Portland, who, like Chicago, are punching a bit below their weight these days. This will be a tough night, but we’re feeling more confident than usual that the Fire will be able to pull it out. Amazing what winning can do for your confidence.
