Concacaf Women’s Olympic Qualifying starts Tuesday, and we finally have a clue as to where we can actually watch the games. Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl reports Fox Sports will have the rights to the tournament.
With 2 days to go before the USWNT starts Olympic qualifying, I’m hearing Fox Sports has acquired the rights from CONCACAF to show the games in the US.

Here’s what Red Stars fans need to know:
Who – USWNT
What – Concacaf Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament – Top 2 teams make 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo later this year
When – January 28th through February 9th
Where -
USWNT vs. Haiti – Tuesday, January 28th at 8.30pm BBVA Stadium, Houston, TX
USWNT vs. Panama – Friday, January 31st at 8.30pm, BBVA Stadium, Houston, TX
USWNT vs. Costa Rica – Monday, February 3rd at 8.30pm, BBVA Stadium, Houston, TX

Only two Chicago Red Stars are featuring in the tournament on rosters shortened to 20—USWNT team mainstays Julie Ertz and Alyssa Naeher. Tierna Davidson was held off the roster due to injury. She won’t be ready until mid-February, per new head coach Vlatko Andonovski. The U.S. Women are huge favorites to become 5-time champions and be one of the two Olympic representatives from Concacaf. They should breeze through their group stage, setting up meetings with either Canada or Mexico in the semi-finals.
