On nights like this for us here at Hot Time, the Man of the Match selection comes relatively easily. There was one standout performer in the Chicago Fire’s 2-1 win over DC United, and tonight it was Álvaro Medrán. He was spraying the ball all over the place with fantastic accuracy, and was accessory to both of the Fire’s goals. His dead ball delivery was perfect and allowed both CJ Sapong and Boris Sekulic to put the ball in the back of the net.
