Philadelphia Union 2, Chicago Fire 1: Man of the Match

MLS: Chicago Fire at Philadelphia Union Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

In a game that was as frustrating as it was entertaining, there were a few standout performances from a Fire squad that once again played their heart out but came up short. Robert Beric scored his 10th goal of the season and Djordje Mihailovic didn’t give up and hustled his way into an assist. However, for us, the best player on the pitch was Bobby Shuttleworth. He made 5 saves on the day and was instrumental in keeping the Men in Red in the game. Because of that, he gets our man of the match.

Now let us know how you saw it. Vote for your choice for MOTM/WOTM in the poll below. The poll will be open for two days, after which we’ll publicize the results.
