Chicago Fire forwards Elliot Collier and CJ Sapong each tallied their second goals of the preseason this afternoon in a 2-0 win over USL Championship side Orange County SC.
Collier scored the opener for the Fire, putting away a low cross from Brandt Bronico (playing once again at right back) in the 27th minute. Sapong added a second eight minutes later, scoring a header off a Djordje Mihailovic corner.

The teams played three, 30-minute periods this afternoon. The Fire switched all eleven starters out for the final half hour, which saw the Fire debut for Wyatt Omsberg, who joined the team after a trade that sent Raheem Edwards to Minnesota this week.
The win moves the Fire to 2-1 this preseason. Next up, Chicago takes on the Colorado Rapids at LA Galaxy’s home stadium in Carson, Calif. this Saturday at 2 p.m. CT. The match will be streamed live at ChicagoFireFC.com.
