We finally get to see the 2020 Chicago Fire in action this afternoon, when they take on the Colorado Rapids at 2 p.m. CT. The game is at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif.—home field of the LA Galaxy.
The match will be steamed live on the Fire’s website, ChicagoFireFC.com. The two guys calling it are Richard Fleming and Brian Crookham, who both work for the Colorado Rapids. The Fire will announce its 2020 broadcast team at a later date.
Currently, this is the only of Chicago’s six preseason matches scheduled for live streaming, although It’s possible next Saturday’s match against the Galaxy will be streamed as well. We’ll keep you posted on that.
Last time out, the Fire knocked off Orange County SC 2-0 to improve to 2-1 on the preseason, with goals from Elliot Collier and CJ Sapong. The Fire also have a win over Nashville SC and a loss to the Philadelphia Union this year.
