Chicago Fire forward CJ Sapong doesn’t seem at all surprised his former teammate, Aleksandar Katai, was released by the LA Galaxy following racist social media posts by Katai’s wife.

Sapong joined The Cooligans to talk about Katai’s behavior while the two played together last year for the Fire.

“I swear Katai did not look me in my eyes for the first two months I was there,” Sapong said.

“I swear this dude was not passing to me when I was in scoring positions,” Sapong said. “This man is at an impossible angle. I’m making a back post run, and he’s trying to shoot it upper 90 from a 30 degree angle. Like, dude.”

A clip of the interview is posted above. You can watch Sapong’s entire interview with The Cooligans for free on the fubo Sports Network. It’ll stream tonight at 7 p.m. CT. (www.fubosportsnetwork.com)
