Chicago Fire midfielder Luka Stojanović has undergone successful surgery to repair an MCL tear in his left knee, the club announced today.
He’s expected to miss several months.
Stonajović injured his knee after landing awkwardly near the end of the first half of the Fire’s 2-0 loss to the San Jose Earthquakes Sunday night.
Stojanović, 26, was signed by the Fire in February. The attacking midfielder made two appearances in the 2020 MLS season, starting once.
