Chicago Red Stars open NWSL’s Fall Series on the road against Washington Spirit

The schedule is out for the first three weeks of the NWSL’s “Fall Series” matches, and the Chicago Red Stars open on the road Saturday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. CT against the Washington Spirit. The match will be streamed on Twitch.

The Red Stars will then head home to SeatGeek Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 12 p.m. CT to face Sky Blue FC. Fans will not be allowed to attend, but that match will be shown on CBS All Access.

CBS Network will be showing an NWSL Match of the Week every Saturday in September, and on CBS Sports Network for the three Saturdays in October. Twitch will exclusively stream seven games globally, including in the United States, and every game internationally.

Each team will play four matches total. The schedule for the remaining games will be announced in the next week, the NWSL said.
