Washington Spirit vs. Chicago Red Stars: Gameday Guide and How to Watch

The Chicago Red Stars return to action today when they visit the Washington Spirit at Segra Field in Leesburg, VA (11 a.m. CT, Twitch).

These two teams met earlier this year on the opening day of the NWSL Challenge Cup, with the Spirit winning 2-1. Both teams will be without their star players on that day—Chicago’s Julie Ertz has opted out of the Fall Series matches, and Rose Lavelle has since joined Manchester City.

Washington opened their Fall Series campaign last weekend, losing 2-1 to Sky Blue FC. This is the Fall Series opener for Chicago.
