Chicago Fire 2, Columbus Crew 2: Man of the Match

MLS: Columbus Crew SC at Chicago Fire Mike Dinovo-USA TODAY Sports

Robert Beric is our Man of the Match, and it wasn’t a particularly contentious discussion, either. He finally broke through after weeks of ineffective play with a goal and an assist, both of which were class plays. His hold up play was also magnificent in a game where the Fire’s ability to relieve pressure and let the defense rest was paramount. Well done to him and lets get more of these performances in the future.
